A calligrapher’s approach to customer service - behind the scenes
Wedding calligraphy services should be exceptional - from the moment you make an enquiry about calligraphy to the day of your wedding. I’ve held this belief close to my heart since the day I started offering calligraphy for weddings in 2005.
The calligraphy itself is only a part of the package. Literally everything has to be beautifully presented, and should be a joyful experience for my customers and clients.
The paper and card quality I write on: smooth or beautifully textured, crisply cut or gently torn, with a pristine surface for the soft swells and hairline strokes of my calligraphy pen
The calligraphy lettering: thoughtful, balanced, flourished (where appropriate) and in a modern, luxurious script to suit a wedding style and colour palette
The ink I write with: silky smooth, in vibrant or pastel shades, with a delicate shine or subtle finish - and always smudge-free
The little details: spelling and grammar checked three times (yes, three) and all set in perfect order, back to my clients

After more than twenty years as a wedding calligrapher, with many hundreds of tiny parcels of place cards, wedding menus, hand written invitations and envelopes sent all over the world, I’m still constantly evolving how orders arrive with you, with the aim to delight every single person who orders from me.
This is the difference that matters.
Having an experienced wedding calligrapher cuts out the worry.
Your order will arrive without mistakes, without anything missing, and without little bumps or knocks around the edges… because courier depots have a couple of things in common with rugby pitches, and only really sturdy boxes will keep your beautiful items safe in there! (This is a thing I learned back in 2006.)
I care about your wedding calligraphy. I know your guests will run their eyes down the table plan, picking out every name.
As I write each place name card, I imagine your guests taking their seats, touching the cards with their names on, enjoying every swirl of every letter - and the fact you’ve added such a special, personal touch to their experience of your wedding.

My work with English Wedding, where I chat with luxury wedding planners like lovely Mark at Niemierko, has taught me that the experience of planning a wedding is everything.
Wedding suppliers can elevate every moment and that’s what I aim to do: with friendly, helpful advice from the heart.
With beautiful products in gorgeous packaging.
And with a calm reassurance that you’re choosing the very best service from a wedding calligrapher you can trust.

I offer a premium calligraphy service at prices to suit everyone. Couples having smaller, intimate weddings can order beautifully handwritten vow booklets from £35. Where a subtle personal touch will bring smiles to guests’ faces, my calligraphy wedding place cards start from £1 each - it’s important to me that every couple who wants handwritten elements in their wedding can afford to have them.
For couples who want to spend more on stationery and calligraphy, I offer bespoke invitations, envelope addressing, handwritten wedding menus, table plans and signage - everything from slates to mirrors - and always, always with personal, thoughtful and caring customer service. Whether you order ten place name cards or two hundred calligraphy envelopes, I’ll take the utmost care with your order - that’s a promise.
